I specialise in pet portraits that capture the unique personality of your beloved pet and aim to capture their unique character and always ensure that each portrait is created with love.
Having been owned by rescue greyhounds for over ten years I completely understand what pets mean to their owners.
I use the highest quality art materials and work in pencils, soft pastels, acrylic and oil paint.
As part of the rescue greyhound community I offer special rates for rescue greyhounds and although I do specialise in dog portraits I have also been commissioned to draw cats and humans and love the variety and challenge that more unusual models bring!
Before we start
Before drawing your portrait, I’ll work closely with you to find out all about your pet’s personality so that I can create a portrait that captures its true self.

Please bear in mind that often the better the reference photo, the better the finished portrait will be. To help me achieve the right level of detail and likeness, please provide multiple photos where necessary to clearly show the subject’s colouring, detail, and any distinguishing markings. Other key things to consider when choosing a photo for your portrait include;
Detail:
The more detail that is captured in the photo the better, and this is particularly true of your pets’ key features such as the eyes and nose.
Lighting:
Photographs taken in natural light work best, ideally outside on a dull, overcast day.
Eye Level:
